In a significant move towards sustainable logistics, GreenLine Mobility Solutions has partnered with Flipkart to integrate 25 LNG-powered trucks into Flipkart’s delivery network. This initiative aligns with India’s broader efforts to adopt cleaner fuel alternatives and reduce carbon emissions in the transportation sector.
GreenLine, a subsidiary of the Essar Group, currently operates approximately 500 LNG-powered trucks and has placed orders for over 2,000 additional units. The company serves prominent clients, including Reliance, TVS Motor Co, and Tata Steel. The newly deployed trucks for Flipkart will initially operate on routes from western to northern India, with plans to expand to other regions in the future.
