Yotta Data Services has recently launched Drishticam, an AI cloud-based surveillance platform that aims to enhance security and operational efficiency across various industries. This platform is built on Videonetics’ advanced multi-tenant Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS) platform and offers seamless integration with existing systems, working with both analog and digital cameras. Drishticam provides real-time threat detection and advanced security features such as facial recognition, biometric access control, and predictive analytics. These tools are designed to optimize monitoring by reducing false alarms, identifying unusual behaviors, and allowing immediate interventions.
Apart from security, Drishticam also offers actionable insights into patterns such as traffic flow and peak usage hours, helping businesses optimize operations. Being a subscription-based model, it allows organizations to scale their surveillance systems as needed, avoiding hefty upfront investments. Features like Automatic Network Replenishment (ANR) ensure continuous video recording, even during network disruptions.
Sunil Gupta, co-Founder and CEO of Yotta, highlighted the platform’s potential, stating, “By leveraging the power of AI and cloud technology, it is a reinforcement of our commitment to supporting businesses in adapting to the demands of a digitally driven world, where robust and scalable solutions are essential to protecting assets and ensuring seamless operations.”
Dr Tinku Acharya, Fellow IEEE, Chairman & Founder at Videonetics Technology Pvt Ltd., also commented on the launch, saying, “We are thrilled to partner with Yotta Data Services in launching Drishticam, an intelligent, cloud-based, AI-powered surveillance platform that aligns with our vision for safer, smarter environments. With our advanced AI-powered Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS) platform, Drishticam brings forth a powerful, scalable, and cost-effective solution for modern enterprises. This is unique and first of its kind in India.”
Yotta has been making advancements in the AI ecosystem, aiming to come up with cost-effective solutions. Recently, the company acquired Indiqus Technologies, a private cloud technology provider, to reduce India’s dependency on foreign cloud service providers. Yotta also launched the Shambho Accelerator Programme, an initiative designed to foster innovation among AI startups. This program aims to provide participating startups with access to Yotta’s extensive technological and infrastructural resources, including its high-performance cloud computing and advanced AI solutions.
