Perplexity AI, a prominent GenAI startup, is rolling out a range of new services for its paid enterprise clients to assist them in making well-informed financial decisions. These services include a knowledge search platform, a financial information tool, and a data repository. According to founder Aravind Srinivas, the company’s “Internal Knowledge Search” feature allows enterprises to simultaneously search their own files and the web with a single search, making Perplexity the central knowledge base and research platform for all users.
Srinivas also stated that the platform will provide research inputs such as due diligence, documents, and proprietary information to help users make better decisions. One of the primary use cases for this feature is to aid financial services firms in conducting more thorough due diligence by accessing internal research, call notes, and the latest industry news. Recently, Perplexity AI launched Perplexity for Finance, which offers real-time stock quotes, historical earnings reports, industry peer comparisons, and detailed company financial analysis with a user-friendly interface.
