AceCloud, a leading cloud computing solutions provider and a brand of Real Time Data Services (RTDS), has announced a strategic collaboration with NetApp and Quantum to introduce a new cloud region in Noida. This initiative aims to provide businesses with low-latency cloud technologies, enterprise-grade reliability, advanced security, and disaster recovery capabilities to accelerate their digital transformation. The Noida cloud region is the second in the Asia Pacific and the 13th globally for RTDS, further strengthening its IT infrastructure across 10+ data centers worldwide. With over 20,000 customers and a team of 600+ employees across India, the US, and the UK, RTDS is well-equipped to support the growing demand for cloud services.
The Noida cloud region offers specialized hardware for AI and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads, including cloud GPUs and high IOPS-based storage. These services will be hosted in a Tier IV data center to ensure robust performance, security, and uptime. Pricing for these services starts at $0.03/hour for GPU compute and USD 7/TB/month for object storage. The services will be available worldwide starting Q4 2024.
Vinay Chhabra, co-founder and managing director at AceCloud, emphasized the significance of the launch, stating, “With the launch of our new cloud region in Noida, we aim to empower businesses with cost-effective cloud computing solutions that offer unparalleled security, availability, and scalability.”
The collaboration with NetApp and Quantum will enable AceCloud to utilize NetApp’s Block storage devices to deliver enterprise-grade, secure, and affordable storage solutions with features like data protection and multi-attach capabilities. Quantum’s ActiveScale platform will power AceCloud’s object storage services, offering flexible tiering for storage classes and support for AI and HPC workloads. Nick Elvester, VP of Product Operations at Quantum, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with AceCloud to provide customers and partners in this region with a solution that helps them easily store their vast amounts of data and leverage it for AI, analysis, and other insights with ActiveScale.”
