Kari Lake, a Republican candidate for the Senate seat in Arizona, addressed her supporters on a cold Monday night before the US election at the Yavapai County Courthouse in Prescott. Many of her supporters were wearing her MAKE ARIZONA GRAND AGAIN hats. As she walked on stage to Bonnie Tyler’s “Holding Out For a Hero,” Lake asked for a show of hands from those who were planning to vote on Election Day. However, no one raised their hands, causing Lake to nervously switch gears and mention the importance of early voting. Lake, who quit her job as a Fox 10 anchor to run for governor of Arizona in 2021, has gained notoriety for promoting debunked election conspiracy theories. She has built her political persona on these theories and has been a vocal supporter of the election denial movement.
