I tested a variety of products from Lush that are specifically designed to promote sleep. Their Sleepy line includes shower gels, bath bombs, massage bars, and body lotions, all infused with calming lavender and other essential oils. I particularly enjoyed the massage bar, which had a unique grooved pattern and left my skin feeling hydrated and relaxed. The lotion, made with oat milk and cocoa butter, also had a lovely lavender scent and left my skin feeling nourished.
For a more long-term sleep solution, I tried MoonBrew Hot Cocoa, which uses superfoods like reishi fungi to support natural sleep cycles. It also contains L-theanine, magnesium, and chamomile, lavender, and zinc to promote relaxation. While the taste was not as sweet as traditional hot cocoa, I found it to be a tasty and effective option for a before-bed drink.
Another option is Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Extra tea, a variation of their classic Sleepytime tea. This blend includes chamomile, spearmint, and other soothing herbs, as well as valerian root, which is believed to aid in sleep. While I enjoyed the mild spearmint flavor, I cannot say for certain if it helped me fall asleep.
Overall, Lush and MoonBrew offer effective and luxurious options for promoting sleep, while Celestial Seasonings provides a more affordable and familiar choice.
